With Scorify, you can record full Pickleball matches and keep a clean, readable scoreboard on your video—no special camera angle required. Aim your phone wherever the view looks good to you, and Scorify will overlay the scoreboard. Just make sure the scoreboard doesn’t hide the players, and you’re set.
What you'll learn
- Flexible camera placement (no fixed spot needed)
- Score control using Score, Server, and Set buttons
- Singles & doubles server indicators (arrow for Singles, two-dot indicator for Doubles)
- Saving favorite points as separate clips for socials or coaching
1) Camera setup (any angle you like)
Scorify doesn’t require a specific camera position. Place your phone where the framing looks best: behind a baseline, near the sideline, or anywhere with a clear view. The scoreboard overlay will appear on top of your footage. Pick an angle that shows the action clearly and leaves room in-frame so the scoreboard doesn’t block the players.
2) Score control while you play
You can update the score from your iPhone or Apple Watch. For Pickleball, Scorify guides you so you don’t accidentally enter illegal points:
- Server button: Tap Server to toggle to the correct server before the next rally. This moves the server indicator (an arrow in Singles or two dots in Doubles) to the player who should serve next.
- Score button: After a rally, tap Score on the serving side if that side won the rally. The Score button is disabled for the non-serving side to keep you consistent with Pickleball rules and avoid scoring mistakes.
- Side-out / next server: Each time the current server loses the right to serve and the next player should serve, tap Server to hand the serve to the correct player or pair.
- Set button: When a player or pair reaches the winning score for the set (e.g., 11), tap Set to conclude that set. Scorify can display up to 5 sets on the overlay.
The overlay stays synced with points and games, so your video always tells the correct story at a glance.
Tap Favorite after a great rally. Scorify will auto-export it as a separate, share-ready clip—perfect for socials, coaching, or quick reviews.
3) Export & share
When you stop recording, your full match (with the scoreboard) saves to Photos. Any favorited points are exported as separate clips. Share instantly—or watch with the score visible to improve tactics and shot selection.
