Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Scorify

What exactly does Scorify do?

+

Scorify records your sports matches with a clean, live scoreboard overlay. You control the scoring from your iPhone or Apple Watch so your videos always show the current score without any editing afterward.

Which sports are supported?

+

Tennis, Padel, Pickleball, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, and Squash. Scorify handles tennis-style, rally, and side-out scoring, whether you play a single set or multiple sets.

Do I need to edit videos later to add the scoreboard?

+

No. The whole point of Scorify is to avoid post-editing. Just record, score as you play, and share.

Does it support both portrait and landscape?

+

Yes. The overlay adapts to both orientations so you can record however you like.

Is there an iPad or Apple Watch companion?

+

You can control scoring with your iPhone or Apple Watch. iPad video recording compatibility may vary by device.

How does the Apple Watch integration work?

+

The Scorify Apple Watch companion app syncs seamlessly with your iPhone. Start recording on your phone, then control the scoreboard directly from your wrist. Update scores, switch serves, and manage game stats without ever touching your phone during play.

Can I edit or remove the scoreboard after recording?

+

Yes! While Scorify adds the scoreboard in real-time during recording, you can save both versions of your video - with and without the scoreboard. This gives you flexibility for different sharing scenarios or if you need the raw footage for other purposes.

What happens after my 14-day free trial?

+

After your 14-day free trial, you'll be prompted to subscribe to continue using Scorify. You can cancel anytime before the trial ends and won't be charged. All your recorded videos remain accessible in your phone's Photos even if you choose not to subscribe.

Does Scorify work with all iPhone models?

+

Scorify is compatible with iPhone 11 and newer models running iOS 15 or later. For Apple Watch control, you'll need an Apple Watch Series 5 or newer with watchOS 8 or later. The app is optimized for the latest devices but works great on older supported models too.

Can multiple people score the same match?

+

Currently, one device controls the recording and scoring per match. However, you can have a friend or coach control the scoring from your phone while you play, or you can use your Apple Watch to score while your phone records. We're working on multi-device sync for future updates!
