Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Scorify (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.

1) Who we are

Scorify helps you record matches with a live scoreboard, mark highlights, and control scoring from iPhone and Apple Watch.

2) Eligibility & account

Scorify currently does not require an account. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and comply with applicable laws when recording others (get consent where required).

3) License and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control. You agree not to:

  • reverse engineer, modify, or resell the App;
  • use the App in violation of laws or third-party rights (including privacy and IP rights);
  • upload or share unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

4) Your content

You own the videos, audio, overlays, labels, and other content you create with Scorify (“User Content”). We don’t claim ownership of User Content and we don’t upload it to our servers. You’re responsible for obtaining consents to record/share where required, and for backing up your content.

5) Subscriptions, trials, and billing

Scorify may offer auto-renewing subscriptions with a free trial. Prices, durations, and trial terms are shown in Apple’s purchase sheet.

  • Billing: Managed by Apple via your Apple ID.
  • Auto-renew: Renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Manage / Cancel: iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
  • Refunds: handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

If a subscription lapses, certain features (e.g., recording) may be disabled until renewed.

6) Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. We process videos on-device and log limited in-app events for analytics. We don’t collect IDFA or track you across other apps or websites.

7) Third-party services

The App relies on Apple services (StoreKit, iOS, watchOS) and may integrate analytics services (e.g., Meta App Events). Your use of those services is subject to their terms and policies.

8) No warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee error-free operation, uninterrupted service, or compatibility with all devices.

9) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the App/service during the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $10.

10) Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11) Changes, suspension, termination

We may update the App, add or remove features, or suspend/terminate access if you violate these Terms or we discontinue the service. We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

12) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Metro Manila, Philippines will have exclusive jurisdiction.
